Lifestyle & Nutrition Counselling
Nutrition counselling & coaching
Honestly, the topic of nutrition is often presented as more complicated than it actually is. Today, everyone calls themselves a «nutrition coach» and wants to get a piece of the cake, one food-trend follows the next. Our clear answer to this: It is not diets with prohibitions, but balanced and healthy diets suitable for everyday life that lead to lasting success.
After studying sports and biology, Personalworkout founder Marc Sonderegger completed additional training in nutrition counselling and has acquired a wide range of knowledge over the years. With his extensive expertise, he will create a personalised nutrition plan for you, support you with his team in recording the results and give you valuable tips for a successful and sustaining change in diet.

Digestive problems
With her book «Darm mit Charme» (Bowel with Charm), Giulia Enders was probably the first to make the taboo subject of digestive disorders accessible to a wide audience. We agree that it is important to talk openly about this problem and offer solutions:
- Constipation is often a sign of a slow metabolism or suboptimal intestinal peristalsis. There are many things you can do about it.
- Diarrhoea, sometimes alternating with constipation, can have various causes. Finding them is not always easy and is often like looking for a needle in a haystack. But we do not shy away from this, because we love to support people who have not been able to achieve any success so far.
- Do you sometimes have so much bloating that you think you’re pregnant? There are only few things more unpleasant. We also have solutions for this problem and will help you to find the cause of your discomfort.
Health coaching
For us, health coaching not only covers the areas of nutrition, digestion and exercise, but also includes other aspects that have an important influence on health. These include sleep problems, hormonal problems such as menopause and/or osteoporosis as well as physical limitations following injuries or accidents.
Our approach aims to emphasise and strengthen all the pillars of the building, starting with the weakest element.
We are much more than a fitness centre or a personal training studio. We are your 24/7 companion, supporting you in all relevant areas of your life until you have reached your desired goal. This requires a great deal of trust, which we always handle respectfully and discreetly.
As soon as you complete our detailed anamnesis, you will realise that we take a conscientious and thorough approach to your individual situation.
Sleep analysis
We have found that more than half of our customers consciously or unconsciously struggle with sleep problems. These include problems falling asleep (lying awake for more than 10 minutes), problems sleeping through the night (waking up to go to the toilet, an active mind, noise, etc.) and lack of energy when the alarm clock goes off. These things are anything but «normal» and should be changed.
We have already helped numerous people find their way back to a healthy and restful sleep. In addition to our extensive expertise, we also use the latest Bluetooth-enabled ECG sensor technology, which can perform a variety of measurements during sleep, turning your own bed into a sleep laboratory. The data obtained in this way helps us to develop customised solutions and make specific recommendations to improve your sleep.

FAQS
How much does a nutritionist cost?
The cost of a nutritionist is influenced by various factors. Primarily, the type of consultation, as well as the nutritionist’s level of education, qualifications, and experience, determine the prices. Typically, the cost per session ranges from CHF 100.- to CHF 250.- but can vary if it involves long-term support or a package deal. Additionally, some health insurance providers in Switzerland offer coverage for these costs up to a certain extent, depending on the type of supplementary insurance chosen.
Who is nutritional counseling suitable for?
Nutritional counseling is particularly valuable if you are serious about improving or optimizing your eating habits. It is also beneficial if you have health or specific athletic goals. Personalized nutritional counseling is especially helpful for weight loss or weight management. It is also suitable if you aim for targeted muscle building or engage in competitive sports. Additionally, it can be invaluable for addressing eating disorders and clarifying specific dietary questions. A good nutritional counseling service should include lifestyle advice to ensure long-term success.
What does nutritional counseling include?
A successful nutritional counseling session begins with your counselor analyzing your individual eating habits and preferences. Next, based on your goals, they develop a personalized nutrition plan tailored to your needs. This plan includes balanced and healthy foods, along with cooking tips and appealing recipes to help you achieve your desired goals without overwhelming you in the process. Your nutrition coach continuously supports you during the transition with knowledge, advice, and strategies for behavioral changes, ensuring that you can seamlessly and permanently integrate your new eating habits into your daily routine. Even after you have successfully completed the counseling, your coach remains available to provide further guidance and adjusts your nutrition plan as needed.
How often should you attend nutritional counseling?
The number of necessary sessions varies depending on your goals, the type of dietary issues you face, and your level of discipline in implementing changes. For motivational and monitoring purposes, the initial timeframe typically ranges from one session per week to once a month, depending on your needs. This allows your nutritionist to optimally support your transition and make timely adjustments if necessary. Once you have internalized your new eating habits and can easily integrate them into your daily routine, sessions can be reduced to every two months or even quarterly to make any necessary adjustments.
